*UPDATE JUNE 2021* LITTER POSTPONED FOR NOW - NEXT LITTER WILL BE OUR "PLAN BEE" LITTER
Our Anura litter has been long planned- I had always remarked how I wished I could combine Gryffindor and Ollivander as where one lacks the other excels. So when Griff's daughter, Ariana, joined our family the idea definitely crossed my mind that my wish might just be granted.
We had to watch and wait to see how Ari matured and whether the two would actually compliment. Now that Ari is over a year old, and we've had the chance to see what Olli can produce, I'm confident that the pairing will be complimentary. We're hoping that Olli's soft head features, smaller ears and great proportions in combination with Ari's great bone, soft expression and super angles should result in some lovely, balanced babies. Both are sound movers with lovely spitz-y outlines and great natural herding instinct.
The pedigree for the Anura litter (see below) combines outstanding, typey dogs on both sides from some of Australia's founding lines and more recent imports from some of the most influential kennels all over the world. Its also a line breeding on Osku "Herding Instincts Nakke Nakuttaja" - the dog who ignited my love affair with the breed.
At home both are cuddle-bugs and enjoy a romp around the yard, a swim in the creek, or an afternoon hike but aren't super high-drive. Both are friendly and easily warm to new people and most dogs. We're expecting gentle temperaments and easy-going puppies who love working with their owners (especially when there's food). These puppies are expected to do well in activities like herding, obedience, agility, etc. Possible colours: Wolf Sable (black) + Brown Wolf Sable For examples of colours see this great guide by Caleebra: Colours (caleebra.com) COI 4.22% over 7 gens
